MARLEY BLANCHARD
At the age of two, Marley started her dance journey. She started competing and training in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and contemporary at the age of seven. She attended Highschool at St. Tomas More Catholic Highschool in Lafayette, Louisiana and won five national championships with the St. Thomas More Sparklers Dance Team in the pom and jazz categories. While in Highschool she also continued competitive dance at The Movement Dance Academy. While there, she was able to learn from and work closely with notable choreographers like Shannon Mather, Dee Caspary, Tina Caspary, Blake McGrath, and many more. She attended many conventions during this time, and was also able to take class from choreographers all over the world.
Now, Marley Blanchard is currently a student at The Ohio State University. Marley is on the Dance Team and is going into her senior year with the goal to graduate with a major in Communications. She has always had a passion for teaching and inspiring younger dancers, and has hopes to continue this is some aspect after college. Since being on the dance team at The Ohio State University, she has won five national championships in the D1A Pom, Jazz, and Gameday division.
Marley is driven by her passion for dance, and this is evident when working with her. Her goal is always to share this love with everyone around, and make taking class a comfortable environment to grow and be yourself in. When working with her she is able to capitalize on any dancers strengths no matter their age or dance ability.
