Najah, originally from Upper Marlboro, Maryland, is a highly skilled choreographer and professional dancer with extensive experience working with dance teams and studios across the United States and abroad. With a career spanning various genres such as hip hop, jazz, tap, ballet, and acrobatics, Najah has been dancing since the age of three.
She later took her talents to Penn State University, where she was a dedicated four-year member of the Lionettes dance team, competing at both UDA and NDA nationals. This experience allowed her to understand the dance team world from both sides of the competition floor. As a choreographer, Najah has achieved top 5 finishes in the D1 Hip Hop category at UDA College Nationals, as well as the D1A Hip Hop category at NDA College Nationals.
Having trained under some of the industry's best creators and assisted top choreographers in the dance team industry, Najah has refined her craft to produce innovative, high-caliber routines. She has recently toured the United Kingdom with a winning dance crew from Britain's Got Talent, became a semifinalist on Netflix’s Dance Monsters, and performed on a major award shows alongside pop star Rita Ora. Her diverse background on the stage, in a competitive studio, as well as on a competitive dance team equips her with a unique ability to develop routines that are not only innovative but also precisely executed for the competition stage.
In addition to her choreography work, Najah continues to teach at dance studios in both the UK and US, dedicating herself to the development of new methods for showcasing creative routines. Now based in London, she regularly travels back and forth to work with teams in the United States. Passionate about pushing the boundaries of dance, Najah is committed to creating memorable and cutting-edge routines that elevate the dance community, and she looks forward to inspiring teams with her vision for years to come.
